THE QUALITY REALLY STARTS WITH THE SELECTION OF MATERIALS THAT MEET OUR HIGH STANDARDS OF DURABILITY, TACTILITY & OF COURSE BEAUTY - BECAUSE WHAT’S THE POINT OF MAKING SOMETHING THAT LACKS BEAUTY?

OUR GOODS ARE ‘MADE TO ORDER’ UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE - SHIPPING TIMES ARE LISTED FOR EACH ITEM. IF AN ITEM BECOMES ‘SOLD OUT’, PLEASE INQUIRE FOR PURCHASE.

LAYERXLAYER is the collaborative design, build and consulting studio founded by Patrick and Leah.

We use the highest quality materials to ensure that what we design will get better with age, as most things worth holding on to should.

We prefer Paypal, but you don't need an account.
You can pay with a normal Credit/Debit card through Paypal - just 'Check Out' as you normally would.

Refunds and Exchanges.

We would like to avoid a Return - who wouldn't?

If you feel that an item must be Returned or Exchanged, please contact us PROMPTLY - 3 days or less, please.

Returns will be accepted within a REASONABLE (5-7 days) amount of time AFTER we agree that a Return is the best option.

We will refund the cost of the item minus shipping - NO RESTOCKING FEE - we're nice like that.

* Item MUST be returned in ORIGINAL CONDITION or Return will be REJECTED.
* Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

we are not a "brand".

Instead, we consider ourselves to be a ‘collaborative studio’. We're not trying to sell any sort of idealized lifestyle. Rather, we prefer to let the work speak for itself. Our goal remains simple: To create the best things that we possibly can. Combined, the two of us have experience beyond our years and ambitions stretching quite far into the future. It is important to us that any 'thing' that we create be of the highest quality and made to last.

We don’t hire PR people, or managers or accounts people. It is just the two of us - doing every single aspect that is required. Right down to designing this very website. Fancy photos and words are not our thing. To us, “Made in the USA” means contributing to the domestic economy and partaking in meaningful work.

Both Leah and Patrick design and (currently) make every single 'LXL' branded product. You should think of LAYERXLAYER products as “Crafted in the USA” rather than “Manufactured in the USA.”
